Jo Turnbull – Lead Therapist

As the founder of IO Therapy, Jo continues to complete the majority of the work. Jo is a registered Occupational Therapist, gaining an honours degree in Occupational Therapy at York. She is a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists, College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section in Independent Practice and College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section in Housing. Since qualifying she has gained in depth experience of working with children and adults with complex physical or learning disabilities.

After spending ten years working within the statutory sector, Jo became an Independent Practitioner in 2005, providing comprehensive assessments, advice and training for a variety of organisations and individuals.

Jo’s associates have a broad depth of experience, each with their own specialist skills. Jo and all her associates are registered with the Health Professions Council and full CV’s can be provided prior to instruction.
